What are you all up to? We are planning an overnight passage from Portsmouth to Cherbourg or St Vaast leaving this evening. Probably coming back by day on Monday.

I was thinking same or St Vaast, but leaving tomorrow eve. I think you've absolutely nailed the wind though and my departure is contingent on the Sat night fluky wind not requiring to much donk!

Have a great sail :encouragement:

We'll be contacting the distributor to arrange collection, next week, of our brand new, 3mm, galvanised, Raptor coated, Series 3 Land Rover chassis with removable cross-member. :)

Then the real work begins.

Richard
Would love a Landy if only I had more time....!

Pottering around the Firth of Clyde. Might go off the wind to Loch Ranza, or Troon, or Loch Gair, or Loch Goil, or Lamlash, or Cumbrae; depends on where the wind's coming from. Coming home will be a beat, it usually is :(

Keeping an eye on the Eastern Solent Sat PM; mowing the lawn & watching the Monaco F1 GP Sunday, keeping off the roads on Monday! :D

Lifted out wednesday, on top of things but will finish polishing the hull and get a couple of coats of antifoul on over the weekend.

Was gonna be a relaxed haul but all of a sudden I got some charter skipper jobs next week on another yacht so Id best get on with it....

Six am flight booked for Sardinia and two weeks in the expensive but beautiful North. IF, IF, IF the French air traffic controllers let our plane through.
