Yes envelopes and fag packets offered great surfaces for ideas …….these days I don’t get post and gave up smoking!
We had to fill out a form for a UK bank, sign with a 'wet' signature. We discovered we had no envelopes (and have not used one from a time before memory failure).

Everything is digital now.

Many years ago when out I needed to write something down and didn't have a pen.
So for the first and only time I went into a bookies and borrowed one of theirs.
Then managed to loose the scrap of paper before the task was achieved.
So just forgot the whole idea.

That is the best thing to do with lists write them down and then loose them.

Who needs envelopes and and fag packets, when for only a few hundred quid you can have a iPad you could write and draw notes on? 😁

Yes I have a goodly supply of envelopes ……that the glue has stopped glueing🙂

Ideal for drawing up lists on, then!

Now all you need is a pencil behind your ear. (Though saying that makes me realise I can't remember the last time I saw someone with a pencil behind their ear. It used to be so common.)
