Hello Everyone,
This is my first post so please excuse me if I do anything against the rules. I have always dreamed of a yacht but still haven't been able to spare money to buy one. But now I have decided to start building yachts for other people and atleast hope to build one for myself in future.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone can advice me if the segment of yachts with 40-45 ft length is a good segment or not. I was looking over various designs that are available for sale and I was leaning towards Bruce Roberts Waverunner 44 design. I was wondering what do you people think as per whether it will be easy to sell something like this or not.
I have access to professional welders and mechanics as I own a small steel foundry and are already into fabrication jobs. And apart from this I myself am an engineer and I am fairly confident that if hundreds of people have been able to build based on Mr.Roberts plans, I should be able to do so too.
Please advice as I will be really grateful. Also, what do you think should be the pricing point assuming that the interiors will be high class for sure and the mechanics will be all upto the mark.
