Planing motorsailer?

Can anyone refresh my memory?......I remember a book on boats which showed a picture of an (american?) fast motorsailer which supposedly sailed ,but would crack 20 knots under sufficient power. Who made it?

By using a 50hp outboard and draining the water ballast it will plane. It comes with a custom trailer so is practical for trailer-sailing. Drawbacks are very narrow beam and internal water ballast, hence probably unable to stand up to much sail. Also accommodation isn't much to European tastes
