I really don't want anyone else to have one, but its only fair to point out that my unique and much admired trial boathook / child soaker appears to be on the UK market now. The Force 4 slim catalogue that came with a certain sailing magazine carries something remarkably like it at the top of page 10.
Its great for pumping the last bit of water from the bilge or dinghy, jetwashing the deck or anchor, soaking junior pirates etc. As a boathook my one isn't great because the hook is too small. Its pretty pricey at "only" £39.95 though.
