Pirate Weekend

Having taken advise from my crew I am advised that to cancel going to the boat would brake my grandughters heart!
So we are going tomorrow evening.
I do not want to frighten her so we will most likely stay in the river and find some shelter if it looks bad.
May head up river to Woodbridge.
If it is not to bad we may slip round to Shotley.

As far as a replay of Pirate weekend goes, we are of for 2 weeks sailing from the August Bank holiday weekend.
We also have to go to a graduation the weekend of 17th Sept.

Saturday 27th August and Saturday 10th September look good for the tides for us from north of the Backwaters.

this chap was doing very well beating into 20 kts last saturday up the Wallet

Roger,

How about taking a few pics with your camera turned on its side - you'd get all the mast in then ;) :D

Mind you you'd be hard pushed to get a pic of me beating anywhere at the mo - stuck on the hard at SYH with a mountain of jobs to do - looks like August before I splash :( .

weather is looking better.
we are going to go anyways as we have been popping around for the last week and its not been as bad as forcast.
we are booked in at titchmarsh but wll anchor off stone point and welcome a raft if all is ok, we are hoping to pick up family then have french connection rafted to us weather permitting

Unfortunatly

Sorry Angels Bridge not able to make it....I will ask Mrs Ocean to explain herself to you all at a time to suit her.........Little Pirates are gutted

We3 have decided to take a raincheck.

So, the Bridgemarsh massive will meet in Paglesham tomorrow afternoon, and we will cook on board.

Well, we're still going - don't think the weather will be too bad at all.

1300: Rain
1500: Light Rain Showers
1900: Sunny Intervals
Sat night: Clear.

I think there's still a load that'll go - especially local boats. I doubt you'd be billy-no-mates....

Down on the boat now.
Youngest member going to bed.
25 to 30 knots on the nose & Wind agaist tide plus rain - I don't think we will be there.

We've had a bit of a discussion and have all agreed..... It's FullCircle's fault

You must have that scaredy cat CPD on board, spreading tales of horizontal biking.
None of it is true, none.

On a more sombre note, it would appear I have at least 2 totally duff batteries as the voltage went down from 12.6 to 10.1 in about 2 hours. A visit to Dauntless is probably imminent.
