Pirate Weekend

Yaah, and as we're back in the Briney, we'll be there with a good pair of ankle-biters to boot.

PS Is it OK to ask another couple of Orwellians over? Might even convert them to The Dark Side (YBW/forums/EastCoast meeting Forum!)

Come one come all!!!

The advantage of camping ashore is the I won't be ferrying quite so many 'worse for wear' pirates around in teh early hours.

And can we have things that go 'BANG!' this year? Cos I've got an idea for a very loud and shiny new cannon.......

And how about a roman catapult competition? (You know, the seige weapons)

Spuds to be thrown at the barges on the island.

Thank you very much for kind offer re: ferrying Kioni-ites to the secret treasure location. Plans still a bit up in the air due to prior engagement on preceding Friday night (2nd Jul) so may not make it over until Saturday mid-day-ish not sure how that would work - how close can we drive? Is Titchmarsh marina as close as we can get?

News on boat repatriation front is that the mast is down, davits/bimini/rib etc off and packed and everything is being fettled, wrapped and stowed in preparation for shipping to Blighty on 17th June, arr Southampton 5th July. Then trucking up to Tollesbury as a big DIY kit to be put back together again. Kiono-ites fondest hope is to be in the waters of the East Coast in time for a languid 3 week holiday aboard during August, since we had such a fantastic time last year.

Bonkers at work so not often here but trust everyone is fine and hope to get involved in the scene again soon.
