Info. required on Pirate yachts. Mine seems to vary slightly from the 1974 YM report - bilge keels, a foot longer. Rydgeway Marine are no longer there to advise. Also interested in spares etc. modifications (to single-handed for one!). Any other pirates out there?
 
I bought a pirate kit in the 70s it was 17ft. o/a sloop rigged bilge keels kept her in Wivenhoe, Essex

Thanks. What do you mean by double trouble. Forewarn me! Do you know who does spares/ specs. etc?
 
We have a 1972 drop keel ridgeway pirate. Bought her last year but we have just lost the drop keel and need to know if there are any junk yards where we could pick-up a second-hand one or if not plans for casting a new one. Any ideas. Otherwise we are thrilled with her. Keep her in Chichester harbour.
