..all trolleys that I have become fond of at Port Solent because they all have their own personalities. Pinky works well but the pink wheels are a bit girly, Lefty has an outsized tyre which makes left hand turns interesting, Basher looks like he's hit a pillar at speed and squeeks and NarrowBoy looks good but is half the size of the others! Have I missed any?

Where are you other PS folks hiding the decent trolleys these days? and at what age are trolleys put out to pasture?

wow, i had no idea that they all had names. Rich gits don't seem to bother taking them back to retrieve the quid, it seems. The trolleys must all be at least ten years old, i think.

eh? only five?

I think that they have all been taken by the sunsailers, and appear to be breeding like rabbits at the lock end of PS , near B pontoon showers. last friday there must have been 15 of them, or maybe even 20!

Perhaps it's best that the rejects are being chucked in the marina, but the hail and hearty ones that can make it to the outer waiting pontoon (yes, apparently some of them can really cover some distance) are all over near the entrance to phyc.

...so that's where they are! Don't often go down the posh end /forums/images/icons/smile.gif. Only ever seems to be 5 or so down our way - most of which have personality disorders.

Methinks some discreet trolley re-distribution is required!

They are indeed an endangered species at our marina, topless being the alpha male. They do look a sad sight all (4) huddled together in the evenings.I wonder what will evolve to replace them?
