I thought I'd just avoid Fred Drift on the Alligator thread by creating a new post for this.

I reckon after adequate lubrication I MAY have seen
  • Narrowboats rafted
  • A friendly wave from a defaced blue
  • An acceptable wash from a 37'+ fly-bridge block of flats

anyone else had similar hallucinations :)

A rather unreliable route to identifying possible hallucinations - I think I can probably say with honesty that I have witnessed all of those - albeit rarely - even when completely sober (many will know that is a fairly consistent state for me !).

A more reliable measure of hallucination might be observing:
Apollo running with fenders up
Dogsbody compus mentus pre 10:00am (or even later....)
Oldgit up and about and demonstrating vital signs post 21:00
etc etc

Cruel, I know, but .......:D

Plenty of pink elephants by about 4pm yesterday....

OI! I'll have you know that I was not only "compus mentus" but at the club house loading stuff for the BBQ at 0800h for the Hurley BBQ weekend. Now, admittedly I wasn't up so early on the Sunday but it did mean I missed having to "take down" the site...
