Pin holes in gel coat

Being optimistic, on the basis that it has all been damp and hopefully not cured yet , it might be an idea to jet wash as much of the copper coat off as possible now.

Otherwise an Electric chisel may be the answer ???

Well this post gave me a sleepless night.

I put the coppercoat on last friday. It was too windy for my sheet. It was due to chuck it down on saturday. I figured it couldn't rain on the bottom of the boat, so I made a drip channel from gaffer tape. 2" above the masking tape and sticking out 1/4". I figured any rain on the decks or topsides would drip from the lip instead of running down the coppercoat.

It did chuck it down on saturday and early too so the coppercoat was only about 16 hours from application.

I am now at the boat and guess what.

My drip channelt worked. Condensation pouring off it even this morning. Phew! I feel very lucky after your woes.

Am doinf the pads today and whilst the finish is pretty good, I've some white patches on the keel where me and my helper overlapped or didint. I'll try and fill those gaps and let you know what happens.
