Pimp me up

I would think that 7 sequins will do the job admirably.
One to the front and back of the Blazer, Chinos.
One on the tie
One on each shoe...

Should offer a slight understatement in the attire dept without the added load or expense of a new range of clothes...

I have been invited to a forthcoming sailing related event, and the dress code states 'glitzy'.

I would appreciate advice from the forum's glitterati on how to pimp-up a blazer, chinos, deckies and a CA tie.

Put a subwoofer (this is not a young dog) in each pocket, lower your deckies and chrome the sole/upper joint, and spray your CA tie with high gloss laquer.......Smokin. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

apparently it is de rigeur to have one's briefs on display if one is to be truly glitzy
so either wear them outside to make an entrance. or judicious adjustment of the belt so your trousers fall down half way throught the evening.

Follow these guidelines:

1. You require cool shades - preferably designer and not too dark as you will really need to wear them all evening.
2. A very - and I mean very - white shirt.
3. Strong hair gel to grease all hair completely flat.
4. Phone ahead on the day of the event in a bit of a flap. Explain you are running late and enquire if their is a convenient helipad nearby.
5. Plenty of name dropping is the order of the day - don't worry if it is a blatant lie!
4. Some in your face aftershave helps.

A bit of tinsel round the old tadger could cheer things up a bit as well as showing some imagination!

To elaborate on Sailbad's advice, I gather that the visible knickers need to be set off by a suitable tattoo (or "Tramp Stamp") positioned on the lower back, just above the panty line.

This is the kind of thing that's particularly in vogue at the moment; you may care to consider it?.

Take an exotic date. Actresses or artists are best and go for foreign if you can. Models have great cudos but it can backfire if they are dull.

If it's Gary Glitzy the date needs to be especially young, but you'll need a neck brace for later, unless you're well hung!
