Piezo Light Reccomendations?

We use a gas filled one, you do have to fill it occasionally no more than once a season, it is however useful for sealing rope ends as well as lighting the gas. If you have a gas alarm then it also useful to test that.

I bought a pack of three on eBay for a couple of quid. One in the cubbyhole above the cooker, one in the galley drawer as a spare, not sure what happened to the third. I do also have a few boxes of matches on board just in case - it's a real problem finding yourself with no source of ignition, as I discovered years ago when all the smokers on board used up the galley matches without telling anyone.

Bought a new one at LIDL the other day. Old one still sparks OK and often manages to light the cooker .... but doesn't seem to like lighting its own gas (it has plenty).

Thought new one was identical at first .... but burner is quite different and produces a lovely 'roaring' jet flame; lights every time. Wonder how long it will last ... but I guess if it manages 5 years like the last I won't complain too much.;);)
