Just had a look. the words "work" and "cutout" spring to mind, but it looks like you have a good foundation to work from. Just one other point, and its a big'ish one. I hopr those beer barrels are empty, cos if their not, wot you gonna drink while your on the boat!!
Did you see my replie to your post on Poverty stricken Boat Owner. I see what you mean about the outdrive. It may be worth looking at the outdrive route. A few pick of the engine layout would be helpful. Anyway, good luck with it and keep us upto date.

More pics to follow when mastered re-sizing files,Iam definatly going for outdrive so i,ll have some very nice shaft stuff for sale..coupling to gearbox...stuffing gland fitting,and a shaft bearing tappered(don,t know real name)...and a 1 1/2 inch sea cock complete with hull fitting...bronze...a water strainer with a glass top with cocks and bypass..all unused and brand new.And a second hand gearbox...details to follow
