For my friends in UK who may be disgruntled with winter. Perhaps these pictures will give you some optimism rfor a coming summer. May be even get you regruntled. No 9 is a picture of my friend Chris Candy's self designed 22fter. Very wide almost catamaran at the front and flat bottomed with swing keel. No 15 is a pic not so flattering of olewil's boat with no 2 son helming and olewill on windward rail abeam the mast. Yes a light weight boat. Almost always over powered. olewill

The catamaran riding up on one hull reminds me of my experiences of Hobie sailing.

I definitely wouldn't want to do that on a solid-bridgedeck cat like mine ...... or the one in the photo! :ambivalence:
