Will anyone admit to ever owning one of these or to knowing anything about them from personal experience?

Hi tico, thanks for reply. I'm looking for any info i can get. I am currently working on mine which I got as just a damaged grp shell, hoping to get back in service again this year if time and funds allow. Finding info with google isn't very successful but has turned up a few pics from a german/dutch site. Any real life info would be helpful.

21' Fiesta was lightly built and a bit under powered with a 90hp Mercury.... could have done with 115hp.
However it was the cheapest way to get a decent sized cruiser at the time.
Picton speedboats on the other hand had a very good reputation.

IIRC Dave and Huw Picton continued in boat building with Cobra RIBS , but seeing as they are now based in Christchurch rather than Bridgend, there may be no connection.

Thanks for the info Tico. I've been away a few days but back again now. This gives me something to dig into a bit deeper which is helpful.

No joy posting pics here so Iv'e put a good few on the photo site "Flickr", it appears the files are too large for uploading via this forum. Pity.

Why not post them on here for us all to see?

Yes PLEASE ! Find a thread with a boat with a fascinating name and then no pics !

Edit : someone near me and more knowledgeable says its a speed boat. But the name Picton Domino would suggest the following to me - circa 1815 General Thomas Picton (who served with Wellington)

and a hooded cloak (these were commonly worn to fancy dress balls as a disguise - but I thought you boys would prefer the modern pic :) )

OK apologies for the digression. Back to sanity :p

Hellooooo,
Picton Domino is a small motor cruiser, two berth, Loa 16' and beam 6'. Mine has Mercury 25 and a Mercury 3.6 back up. I have posted a few pics on Flickr under "Bob Branney" if you care to have a look. As previously mentioned YBM site upload will not accept my files. (too big they say)
