pic's of my boat at last after 2yr restoration

Just having another look at your 'project' and spotted photo number 008, and I had one of 'those' moments. I had the davits taken off Sultan because they took up too much room on the rear deck, just saw your photo and 'What a brillaint idea' I shall have to have words about mounting my davits on brackets 'a la Sea Tigress'. It looks from the photo as if they swivel, is that the case or am I mis-interpreting the photo?
 
their is a stainless hand rail just behind the davit's,that is attached to the davits.but this dos'nt have to be their. so yes remove a locking pin and they will swivel!

sorry but i dont no the make of davit's....

Thanks for that info, but if you look at the photo of Sultan you will see the davits I already have, I think they may have been fitted to Noah's Ark but failing that they may pre-date Vetus :D As far as I know they were fitted to Sultan when she was built and that was at least 40 years ago!

As the original thread is over 10 years old, the pictures were probably linked to a private server, and are thus lost to the new system.
