The Sealine Owners Club held our Halloween Rally at East Cowes Marina on Saturday and we all had a great time.

Everyone made such a great effort in dressing their boats and dressing themselves. There were prizes for the best dressed boat which had a mast, sails and even cannons! I took the photos below with my iPad but by the time we were dressed up it was too dark to take photos without a flash but the costumes and make-up were terrific.

We went up for a meal and a disco at the lifeboat pub in the evening. I was particularly pleased to see Mr oGaryo there, looking well and healthy but he didn't join in the conga chain at the disco! Perhaps you can have one at the Beer and Natter and he'll join in then!

Many thanks to Tim Griffin of Griffin Marine, East Cowes Marina and the Lifeboat pub for donating some super prizes and congratulations to those who won them.

There is more photos (and better than mine) on East Cowes Marina's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/eastcowesmarina?ref=stream .

Great use of an underused passarelle Peter, maxsisi look pretty scary to me. Well done everyone a great effort.

Oh I wish I'd known you were forumites as I would have come over to say hello! We were moored at east Cowes and eating at the Lifeboat on Sat night and admiring your outfits and makeup, but maybe not your dancing ;)....looked like a fun night. Boats also looked wonderful.

Yes you should have said hello. I was the one with the green face!

Here is another photo of some of the costumes...

Top night and will do it again! We were put to shame by the standard of boat decoration! What is slightly worrying though is the fact that I am not a big fancy dress man yet I have dressed up as a clown, a pirate and the devil this summer for various boat do's! Mid-life crisis anyone?!

Great to meet you too Merlyn and catch up on the boats history. You can be assured that we will use and look after her.
