Might the guys at the Lisbon Maritime Musem have something on her? Difficult to guage the scale, but from the visible crew, she must have been +/- 100ft. Or was she not based in Portugal?
She was based in Portugal and my great grandfather used her as his office in the Summer while his wife ,who didn't enjoy boats stayed at home . The boat would be moored right in front of the house on the Tagus estuary not far from the bar.
Maybe the Maritime Museum has some information,I for one would love to know.

I will dig back a bit. I had a chat with a brit at Lisbon Uni about a Nau I saw being built up in Viana de Castello back in '85. He did a design for a carbon yard for one of the Caravella replicas and knew several historians.

Are plastic dinghies allowed in here, amid such company? Maybe with nice reflections off the water? I hope so...

I'm sorry the mast was truncated there. Later the same day...

Lady Anne our Beaty 31 sailing in the Easter Regatta in 2104 in Placencia Belize, Central America

She is based upon a 1930's Sparkman & Stevens design, probably a Hinkley 31
