Regulars will remember our pics of Antarctica from last year.

Following that up is this gallery documenting Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego - online now, follow the link:

After the Southern Ocean crossing from New Zealand Kiwi Roa made her way down from approximately the middle of Chile into Patagonia and southward to Tiera del Fuego.

Lots more ice but it's not all glaciers. Enjoy.

The Falklands and South Georgia I. are due for treatment sometime soon. Stay tuned.

I'm working on South Georgia too; by all accounts, it's fabulous if you're into looking at beasties. Isn't South America great?! Wonderful pictures! It makes me want to go back... Brecknock is one of the places on my list. It's a shame the Chilean navy doesn't let you go wherever you want; caleta Murray would be nice, for a start, and the bay where the Dresden hid out for months in WW1.
I see the quay at Puerto Toro has been finished; it was unusable a couple of years ago.

sigh... yo quiero el sur...!

Fantastic photos - thanks. I feel privileged to have seen them! Only wish I could have been there myself. Keep up the excellent work!

i've visited both chilean and argentine patagonia, and chilote. but not by sailboat :(

so very good to see pictures of it again. thanks.

Thank you for sharing that, a real sailors blog with true information useful to other sailors.

Oh and I can see where you are coming from with that RRR... anchor. Quite impressed actually !
