A friend with an identical boat asked me if I could get some photographs of his boat and he would reciprocate. We managed to get som nice photos of his bow cutting gracefully through the water .. but all he could proffer in exchange was a few distant shots of our stern .. is this a fair image exchange?

Erm pardon me .. you wiz aff doon ra Beaulieu whilst we de - moored. Ra engine wiz oot of gear afore we sailed past ye and we wiz so far aheid it seemed pointless tae detour into the path of the large ship jist tae gae roonnd a wee buoy. Sour effin' grapes, pack of lies .. have yoiu thocht o' jyneing new labour?

I beg yer pardon. We wuz under the impression that the start line wuz the feckin Beaulieu Spit Dolphin. Despite yer massive false start we wuz up yer jacksie in no time at all, see exhibit "a" above. Staying out the way of a big ship! You load of wussies, power gives way to sail you know. We crossed the line without interfering with said vessel, the skipper even came out on the fly bridge to give us a victory gesture, in acknowledgement of our triumph.

Re: Protest Committee

Och my Auntie Ella has offered tae serve, has been a member Of the Church Of Scotland for unmpteen years and is thus a really experienced Protest Aunt!

May we establish facts please.
1 Both boats on Starboard?
2 Next Mark rounded to port?
3 Photo taken from stern of boat?

If yes to all three then I find as follows:
They are windward boat therefore must keep clear
They don't appear to have overlap therefore no water at the mark
They look a rabble and don't deserve to win

Re: well when I passed you ....

Glen Rosa was in the lead, but neither of you had all your sails up!

Nice to see you bang on your passage plan from Friday too.

No response to the wave, no response on C16 and even Jimi's mobile rang out - so I just went fishing..... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
