The lock shown has parallel sides, Romney gets narrower at the gates. Also the public barrier at Romney is a wooden fence, there are not houses below the lock, and the public area is not as wide and does not have benches set back at the tail end. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Apart from all those details, it could be mistaken for Romney, the office is in a similar position too

Coming in from the downstream side of Romney , the lock ' office ' would be on the other side.
