Photo competition

Following Byron's post about the photo competition, looking at the sunset cheered me up.

So I thought how about a forum photo competition.

I think someone should think of a new title as sunset has been done rather too well......

Even so here are my "sunset over the Thames" entries, I hope you enjoy them.
And can you guess where they are?

1st one: is it Cookham Reach with Winter Hill top left and Bourne End railway bridge in the top rght?

Sneaky b*gg*r - the first pic you posted WAS Boveney but you've changed it and the new one is Goring.

Ive even found oone you 'took earlier' which proves the first one was Boveney.....

And if I want to be really pedantic - which I do - the title is a bit rubbish really, 'cos you are actually IN the lock rather than 'waiting' 'cos waiting infers that you are outside waiting to get in...........so there ! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

PS the Goring pic is MUCH better, photographically speaking, than the Boveney shot which was lifeless and boring........

Love the Goring shot.

Of my 3, the location of the first one has been guessed, the second one was taken a few minutes before so is also in the cookham reach.

But no one has guessed the 3rd one yet, it is on the Thames though.
