Phoenix of Hamble

What's an Iron Man (opposite of Flabby Man I guess) ?

Don't quite follow the logic as the blog was quite 'full on' P of H then nada.

Obviously, it's none of my business - I just enjoyed reading about the upgrades.

my neighbour entered, he would run umpteen miles a night then collapse on the verge outside the house totally bolluxed. great fun by all accounts

'ello all!

All right on every front...

Varnishing season is behind and ahead of me.... mojo vanished for a few months, but now returned, and work is intense, to afford the goodies...

and in June I am competing in IronMan France.... which, unless I want to die in the attempt, requires a pretty significant amount of training, currently around 12hrs a week, and increasing!

Funnily enough, i'll be spending some time onboard in the next 2 weeks, so activity will be restarting.... apologies for tardy blog management... will make efforts to redeem myself! :)

PS.... largely lost my enthusiasm for this place too.... still love the ECF, but find myself increasingly depressed by the nastiness, bile and occasional hate spouted in other parts of the fora.

Ironman is mega triathlon. 2k sea swim, 120 mile bike ride and then a full marathon. :ambivalence:
Why would you want to do that.

It's an achievement if I swim round the boat - never mind the rest .

Anyhow - good luck to him.

Look forward to when he get's back to being 'normal" :D

Edit: He has risen - look forward to the new additions to the blog.

I should add that I haven't been completely 'offline' boatwise.... I have continued to collect an ever growing list of boaty bits to fit!

Roughly translated that means more on the jobs list though, to do and done jobs can get scarily close as you know
Good to hear you're cracking onwards and best of luck with the ironman, best I can manage these days is to iron a shirt

About time you had another party Neil.....
