Phantom 40 Sinks last night - anyone here?

Re: Of all the doors in all the world......

I just wondered Haydn, if maybe certain manufacturers need to be made aware of this problem and perhaps change the type of lock they are installing.

I was in Poole Harbour today and guess what? There was a Phantom being bought in on a barge being towed by a large tug. Looks like its been salvaged!

Re: Fairline listening here, or is Telmate correct?

JFM Fairline must be listening because I went down to the boat and checked the door. There is no keyhole inside, just a latch and when the latch is locked the door won't slam shut as the catch is locked in the down position. Tried slamming the door shut but it wouldn't close whilst in the locked position.
Wonder what will happen to the salvaged 40 and if the owner in Jersey has another one coming?

Does anyone know where this boat ended up as I have been contacted by someone who may be interested in purchasing it?
