Phantom 37

See you must have a new job then, IMHO there are better flybridge motor cruisers on the market at the moment with more accomodation than the P37, nice P 41 at Hamble point with big VP in, see Inwards marine.

Suspect that TAMD 63P's or L's are essential in a Phantom 37. In the real world (as opposed to "brochure world") with a bit of mid season weed, full of gear, dinghy and outboard on the davits you'll be mid 20 knots flat out, cruising very low 20's. Add a bit of swell and you'l be pushing it all the time.

63P's wil put you towards 30 knots flat out and cruising comfortably at mid 20's. Much better. Also, KAD 42's run at about 3,800rpm flat out, 3.500rpm cruising, whereas the much larger capacity 63's are 2,800rpm flat out, 2,500rpm cruising. Much more relaxed and no superchargers to whine/go wrong (not that they're noted to be troublesome, but the more complexity there is...). Resale will be way way better too. Alot of people will simply not want a 42 engined 37 foot flybridge boat.

Quite prepared to believe that KAD 42's adaquete for a Sealine 37, but Fairline a little err more substantial IMHO. In fact wouldn't be at all surprised to find that 42's or laterly 44's are about as big as Sealine fit! Says it all really...
