Looking at which petrol jetwash is ok to keep onboard so i dont have to scrape every 4 months against the wall(too bleedin old).
Up to £500, we lean against the harbour wall in dartmouth, i usually use the harbour hosepipe and a scraper.
too old for ripped knees from barnacles and mussels so asking for any recommendations for a jetwash.
appreciate we have barnacles on bottom foot of keel(stits in mud) which need to be scraped but with the coppercoat, jetwash slime/weed to save a few hours of the tide.
can connect to mains from the shore, need about 10m lance, but also would like it to pick up water from the sea if needed.
any ideas folks??

Thanks. More detailed explanation..
When against the wall will def be using the tap.
Want to be able to use it on the mooring to wash decks, wheelhouse sail covers etc so sucking up from deep water.

We do that with a small hobby Karcher powered by generator but, it needs pressure feed from deck wash pump then rinse through afterwards with potable from galley tap.

You'll need to flush it through with fresh water after every use if you want it to last. That may be an issue on a mooring.

Plus, I'm not sure I'd want to use salt water to wash topsides & covers. Material will never dry properly until the rain has washed all the salt out, and windows will dry streaky unless you're very diligent with a squeegee afterwards.

If you don't mind washing with salt water, save your money and just go out in a good blow ;)

I bought an i/c jet washer and found I spent more time and energy trying to start the bloody thing so reverted back to a 240v unit.

You won't need anything very powerful if you'll have coppercoat on - the slime that you get comes off easily, you shouldn't have any barnacles or mussels or jellies. Mine's been on 10 years now all I get is a bit of grass round the waterline & the usual slime...(y)

We have coppercoat but the boat sits in about 2ft of mud at a big springs tide, so the mud sticks to the coppercoat then the barnacles start. when we lean against the wall, i have a hosepipe and sponge/scrubbing brush and its a pain.
i have to kneel down in the mud/broken mussels and barnacles.
it takes the whole tide to do it and he knees end up cut to shreds.
im too bloody old for that stuff so am asking for any recommendations of a £300-400 petols jetwashers .
thats all???
