I really don't know.

While Mermaid had strong links with Fairey and the club, Mermaid pre-dates me a bit as I bought my Huntress in 2001 and until 2015 had Perkins boats, although the current Huntsman has Cummins I put in it was built with Mermaid 180's.

There is a Mitchell 31 for sale in Ireland I have been keeping an eye on, it has a Mermaid 2002 Ford Dover block, NA, 120hp, I don't think you could ever wear it out.
