Perspex Washboard design

I want to fit perspex washboards (X2).

Would 5mm be sufficient even mayby thinner as lighter is easier to handle?

5mm would be very flexible and could be popped out. Unless the size is very small, I'd have said that's too thin.

Mine are 10mm. 5mm would be useless as washboards, but would keep the wind out.

For what it's worth, mine are 12mm polycarbonate. They feel solid rather than heavy - anyone who had difficulty handling them wouldn't be fit to sail the boat anyway.

I have some perspex that I can not remove the liner from ,it is impossible to peel off ,
anyone have any tips on removing this please ?

Mine are ( is ) 12mm it is 425 mm wide at the top and 375mm wide at the bottom and 600mm high.

It is far, far too heavy in one piece. Must weigh 5kg plus. In the rain or spray wet acrylic is as slick as ice and a washboard does not have a great handle on it. Dropping it on a toe or finger would have you in serious trouble. I'm going to have it cut through at about 30 degrees into two pieces.

If it is a film tint applied to perspex then they say steaming off with wallpaper steamer works well
