Does anyone have a recommended supplier of perspex/acrylic materials for boat windows???
Mine are beyond polishing and need replacement. They are screwed to the superstructure so shouldnt be too difficult to do with hand tools - any advice available???

When I have previously needed this done I have talked to acrylic signmakers in the area. If you take in the old windows as templates they stick them on some kind of pantograph cutting machine and its quick and easy. Got mine done for the cost of the material and a few pints for the chap doing the cutting, which took very little time as the shapes were very simple.

What the firm could not do were discs, I've a small (150 mm or so) porthole that needs doing some time. Its a vent from main saloon to the bridge so not vital but with autumn round the corner its nice to get it fixed.

Ill have a go at the portholes for you Andrew . I have a milling machine with a turning centre and some broken off cuts of unbreakable perspex :D
Just call or text the exact size you need next time your aboard and ill drop them off next time i'm aboard . Assuming i can find Jedi , have you moved off Wilsons ?

TYVM Jason.

Second to last on the downstream outer side of MTYC pontoon now. I'll be up for the RNLI Rally weekend, pm in advance and we'll see about a few beers to go with them. ISTR they have a pivot pin either side of the frame which is clamped between two clear discs, the discs themselves are held together by a glorified nut and bolt and seal with an O ring somehow. I'll pull one apart to be sure.
