Pershing 37 - Windy Khamsin 34/35

@PowerYachtBlog The 37 Pershings you drove were all with CATs or also with Yanmars? I saw their specs and the Yanmar is a high rev engine but 100kg lighter. Which would be the preferred one supposedly both maintained properly?

Cats, though I drove one with Yanmar but my mind is a bit obfuscated on that boat. You get used to the rudder thing IMO, I am just servicing a full unit of a 43 atm.
In the sea port and starboard does not make a difference really. But hey to each his own.
As for the rubber I think you could do the second and it will work.

To me it also seems awkward that the helm is left but what troubles me more is that the controls are on the left and not the right hand, me being right handed. But I thin it is something that can get used to after a few rides.

@PowerYachtBlog what made you obfuscated about the boat with the Yanmars?

You are looking down the wrong end of a telescope using which hand controls the throttles - the L or R seat position in choosing a boat .imho .
Almost as nonsensical as the right type of prawn griddle . :D.We have had that before on here btw .

Having said that I appreciate it takes “ all sorts “ ! ;)
