I used the 500w dimples and a dehumidifier

The dehumidifier won't work under 5 degrees and only tends to run during the day, it fills up in about three days, then turns itself off.
I set the heater to front mode and it turns itself on and off based on the temperature.
Overall the boat stays a lot drier and doesn't get mouldy, although I do remove all soft furnishing, sails, life jackets, etc.
When on board I whack the heater up to 4 or 5 and it keeps the whole (24 footer) boat toasty. I preffer it to a fan heater because it's silent.
