The actual manual covers the entire range from M130C to M300 TI.
Mine came from ebay at around a tenner.
The publication No is TPD 1318 E. There is sticker inside that the item came from

Find out what Massey Ferguson Tractor your engine is fitted in and you could get a Perkins Workshop Manual from a Tractor Dealer. (and cheaper parts as well)

thanks old git and jim , not sure what we want yet going up to have another look ,iread on a thread that volvo paul had a similar problem to mine so investigating that side ,i could buy a manual for £130 but there is a 3 week lead time

So contacted another dealer about a manual they need a serial number so they can build a manual can this be right

Mine is loose leaf folder with what appear to be high quality photocopies.
It covers models YA to YD.It has suppliment covering the Phaser(Automotive) and 1000 (Agricultural) series which appear to be identical to my (M)arine 135.
On Ebay there is couple of manuals for the 1000 series with the "Y" suffix.
These cover the engine specs but not anything to do with the marinisation bolt ons .

Thanks, I got your PM, but then I looked and you have all the info you need. The torques were posted above and the user manual on page 47 has the valve tip clearances. Here it is in case your copy has it missing. It's not a hard job.

I’d say 600 rpm might be a bit low, I know they are different but my Ford Sabres idle setting should be 650-750 rpm. Also I have heard tell that the Perkins Sabres can have a tendency to stall going in and out of gear and need their idle lifting a bit to counter that.
