Perkins Range4 1980\'s

Sorry if you've already seen my post on PBO but I only got two replies and I'm sure someone on MoBoChat must know the answer.

I'm buying a boat equipped with a pair of Perkins T6354.4m 200hp diesels. Main snag is that someone has removed the starters and alternators and they've gone AWOL. Does anyone have a parts list I could buy off them, or can anyone advise me on the relevant make/model of starters and alternators? Serial numbers for the engines are:

TU70025U688090J
TU70025U656960H

PM tr7v8 he put a post up the other day about a very good Perkins stockist in Chatham, I used them for my head gasket on my HT6354 range 4's (H stood for horizontal by the way)

<font color=blue>It just occured to me that you may well get assistance with this from an agricultural engineer. There is a firm called Walter Wilder & Co. of Wallingford in Oxfordshire, they are familiar with Perkins and stock many of the parts, try them. I also suspect these were the same engines used in the London Transport Routemaster buses. That could be another lead to follow, there is a stockist for those parts at the far eastern end of Cable Street in London, though what their name is escapes me. A little detective work for you. I have dealt with both when I had HT6.354s and they were both cheap and helpful.

Thanks guys,

I found that post from tr7v8 about the Perkins place in Medway. I'll try ringing them, and the agricultural people tomorrow. If you do happen to remember the name of the firm in Cable Street, I'd be grateful if you could PM it to me.
