Perkins injection pump spares

Would anyone know where I could get spares for this pump please? It's leaking and I believe the O rings have hardened.

So have I thats why I take a sample to my local seal supplier

Again most injector repair firms will have injection copper washers.

When I had my injectors refurbished the company supplied copper washers included in the price.

Parts4Engines also sell them

Don't know where you are located so cannot find anywhere local

I would not repair either pump or injectors but toke then to a specialist

A few years back calcutt marine had an article suggestion it would be wise to have a cav injector pump rebuilt on the older units as they have rubber seals which modern bio in diesel attacks which can lead to leakages into the crankcase. The rubber would be replaced by nitrile.
No idea if yours is of that type.

These are standard fuel pumps so can usually be obtained also from a diesel injection service agent or even Amazon'

I usually find that washers can be annealed and reused. Something we frequently had to do when I was at sea.

Heat till cherry red and plunge into water.

Yes they an be annealed if you have the equipment on board.

Try to identify the actual pump manufacturer or the base engine and go to a tractor place, "Sparex" probably do a rebuild kit for the pump which will have the parts you need.

All done. In the end I just replaced the O rings on the injector pump body. One had definitely failed and the rest were hard. Simple job, hardest part was taking the injector pipes off.
