Hey burgundyben. I removed the plate off the bottom of the manifold and found a pile of rotten black scum in there. Also the 2 holes at the end of the manifold where the raw water exits to the manifold extension were partially blocked. obviously it can get cruddy in there. Have given it a clean with wires etc and flushed fresh water back and fowards so i appear to have cleared any restrictions. Am waiting for a new plate from England and will reassemble. Thanks for advice.
