PERKINS 6354 TURBO THERMOSTAT

hi Anyone changes the thermostat on these engines? These lie at an angle and just wondered where its located and how easy/hard are they to get at?
In my mates Broom 37 crown.
Any info, pictures diagram appreciated.

User Andrew Fanner was out resident HT6 expert but not seen him for a while, there was a very knowledgeable chap in the Broom Owners Club, David Harrison I think, he knew them well.

On the upright engine, you lift off the header tank and the stat is sat in a small casting that is bolted to the head. Some plumbing and four studs, then it lifts off, its quite a hefty lump though.

I reckon it'll be similar on the HT.
