Perkins 4108 Question?

Can anyone please tell me what I need and where to fit a mechanical oil pressure gauge on a 4108?

The electric gauge is bouncing all over the place. It MAY be the pressure reliefe valve but I hope not, as its not accessible without lifting the motor.

I've checked and cleaned all connectors without any improvement.

Thought this might be the cheapest way to test it.....

the existing gauge will have a sender / sensor in the block. swap the senders

It screws into block between starter, oil filter and fuel injection pump, 1/8 nptf thread

The electrical pressure sender is the usual culprit.

If the sender is the type with the knurled fixings I have a spare somewhere
