Perkins 4108 gear box oil

I noticed that the gear box oil needs a top up. According the manual it takes SAE20.

Any one know where I can get this oil without taking a big diversion. Ive made a few calls to chandlers, likewise other usual oil sources up here,,,which are all negative.

I live in Bracknell. Berks. and the boat is at Porchester so Hamble or Farham would be ideal.... or do they sell this stuff at fueling pontoons?

Other thing is that Im going of for a week or so, and I was going take a few more spanners etc. than the kit that lives on board, but cant remember if they are AF or metric.

try an agricultrial supplier.

dont use a multigrade oil as it will foam in the box.
