I have recently purchased a used perkins 108 engine - unfortunately a number of the pipes have been either cut or missing. can anybody help me with a drawing or handbook/manual.
Do you mean the perkins 4108?
I don't have a manual myself but a friend of mine does. I can ask him if he will help you if you like. I think its still possible to get spares for these engines.

ps welcome to the forum.
I have a manual but its 'on the boat'!! however I thought that someone ( on our forum) went to a lot of trouble to create a disk or some sort of copy.
There are still some good supliers of most spares.
what do you mean by "pipes" ? are those bringing fuel to the filter, or metal pipes from/to filter-injection pump-injectors-fuel return, or water conduits..
also, what model is the engine ? the 4108M with bowman exchanger or other models ?
I have a few documents for the 4108M, maybe I can help
Had twin Perkins 4108 diesels in my last boat, ran for years never let me down.
Find the engine number it is on the side of the block it is always usefull.
Consumption was 1 gallon per hour per engine on a 27' motorcruiser
Perkins Peterborough if you phone them will even tell you when your engine was built from this number, very nice and helpfull people.
As said above always got spares at reasonable prices when needed from a lot of places but never needed many.
it is fitted with a bowman heat exchanger - but the main problem is the fuel pipes, the previous owner appears to have disconnected some of the pipes especially before the injection pump.
this shows the low pressure pipes from the lift pump-filter to the injection pump, and the fuel return; unfortunately the drawing only shows the connecting ends so it is hard to imagine which shape they have, how long they are, etc
hope you can get an idea... at least you have the part numbers /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
