I own and still use a wooden 43 foot motor boat/yacht built for my grandfather by Percy M.See at Fareham, Hampshire, England and launched in April 1911. I am very interested to learn of the existence of any other Percy See boats of that vintage.
Thank you.

Percy M. See is the trading name behind the Lower Quay Chandlery in Fareham. I know the company has been in the family for at least 2 generations, so I would speak to either Luke or James at the chandlery.

Hi- yes the chandlers in Fareham with the same name use just the trading name. I would also be interested to know of other boats. Jonathan, we have emailed before but lost touch as I moved...

I have a 1956 wooden Bermudian cutter designed by Percy M. See. She's a beauty.

Today 23rd Feb 2025 I found a nameplate while metal detecting at Southend Essex.
Oval brass plate embossed with" designer & builder Percy M See , Fareham Hants.

Percy M See was purchased in the early 50,s by Luke and James granmother and continued to build some boats.
Luke of Portsmouth Moorings possibly still holds some boat plans and has historical knowledge.
