Just heard that PHYC have been given 6 months notice to leave by MDL.

I’ve not been a member for the last 16 years, but plenty of good time’s were had.

Was told of this via somebody who spotted it on Faeces ~ Book.
Have been there many times over the years solo or with other boats.
Have always found them the be helpful, welcoming and friendly both in the clubhouse and as a club.
The clubhouse itself always gave excellent service and good value regards food and refreshments and was usually very busy during our visits.
PH have assisted many of our club members who required assistance when boats broke down or needed a berth for a day or two.
Would suggest that this marina is going to regret evicting the club from its premises, we have only ever stopped at PH simply because the club and its premises where there.Would also suggest that it was also a good reason for some who to moor there as opposed to other nearbye marinas.
As Bray knows very well ,posh restaurants , arrive and are gone tomorrow.
Certainly wish them luck in finding a new base and to keep on keeping on.
