I visited the chandlery at PH last week. There was a thing outside, it looked like a flying saucer but had an outboard. I thought it interesting and that I'd look it up on the net later. I can't find anything similar - could somebody tell me what they think it was please?

N.B. I've already got a tiny cabin cruiser and a sailing dinghy. I don't want the 'flying saucer', juts want to know about it.

Thanks.

a disc boat (if not that very one) was there in late 2006 when I lived aboard in PH. Maybe it is just maturing....

Hey Mark - hope you are having fun there.

Is that small (18'?) boat and trailer with no outboard still outside the shop? When I asked the other week it was explained that it might be for sale. If it is I'm curious to know the price.

Do you mean the red Fletcher? (at least I think it's a Fletcher).

No, I've seen the Fletcher on their web site. This was a larger, quite rugged looking cabin cruiser and about 30 years younger than mine.

If it mattered that much I'd just phone PH Chandlery but I don't want to waste their time. Actually it's because I had a Chinese work colleague with me when at PH and he keeps asking me what the boat will sell for.

Of course it was a really low price I'd try to sneak it past the Mrs :-)

I think that must be the Quicksilver that's now parked up next to the gas store. Let me know if you want me to ask Steve in the chandlery ;)
