Penta Green colour code

Does anyone know the colour code for Volvo Penta Green?

Halfrauds won't mix it up unless I can give them an actual code, and none of the hammerites seem to match very well.

There's some tins on eBay, but at nearly £20 for an aerosol of paint that would be £6 if it didn't say volvo on it, I'd rather paint the engine another colour.

TK Marine Paint sell Volvo Green in an aerosol for about a tenner.

Why not consult a RAL colour chart and see what matches? If you then give the RAL number to the paint blender they should not have any problem.

Just sprayed my MD 11c with Halfords Ford Meadow Green at around £6.50 per can. Perfect! Remember to use grey primer also.

Buick Green - Half a can available in Hamble if you want it.

I have Cummins now and they use good old blue hammerite.

Tried Meadow Green yesterday. Don't know if Volva has changed the colour over the years, but it wasn't a good colour match - much too light.
Only touching up a tiny rust spot, and had tried Hammerite Green first (good for protection but too dark) so not a huge issue - but I for one have not found a match yet (and doing tiny bits so don't want spray can)

Volvo Code 421 Spray Paint (Dark Olive).
I know this is a spray but the code may match the correct colour.

When I wanted to touch up my VP2003 I was told that VP change paint suppliers every so often and change the part number for the paint accordingly. Touch up (brushing) paint didn't seem to be available - only spray cans. I invested in an expensive VP spray can because I thought it would be a good colour match without hassle. Unfortunately, they must have changed suppliers several times as the new paint is an entirely different shade of green to the original, so I now have a nice two-tone engine. Fortunately, the colour of the thing has no impact on how well it goes and, anyway, the engine bay is so small and dark the difference is difficult to see!
