Hi All,
a week ago I got a 'power trim error' message with a alarm 'beep' on my 2.5 inch display on one of my two DPH-A stern-drives. I would show -5 instead of the trimmed position 0. The error and behavior disappeared after the next engine start. Just yesterday on another ride with the boat the engine error now also came up on the other drive with a similar behavior. The error seem to appear randomly, for example not at the time of trimming the drive itself.
Did anybody had this situation before? Where are the sensors located on the D4 engines with DPH-A drives? Could this be some corrosion / water on the sensor cable plug itself or is there anything I can adjust on the sensors?
Thanks,
