Peeping through

At last light today I was able to see that the river bank at Ashmount was just peeping through the floods. As I fill from the back rather than over the bank this is good news as it means the flood plains on the Cleve - Benson stretch are emptying fast. Having said all that it will not take much from upstream to fill us up again.

The levels upstream are dropping too, fortunately the last 48 hours don't seem to have delivered what was predicted
