645 was much more popular. If money is the issue then I imagine the predecessor to the 645, the 625, will be at 585 prices

Jeanneau Merry Fisher, I assume you are looking at outboard engine?
Beneteau
Ocqueteau (Good boats I used to sell these)
Arvor
Quicksilver

I had a Guy Couch 6.6m With an inboard Iveco Diesel on shaft. (an original Peche-promenade) If you can find one of those they are brilliant. Built extremely well (Guy Couch made boats for the French Navy as well a Superyachts costing over €5 Million. The build quality is there. I was told that Guy Couch sold the hull mouldings to Merry Fisher. Sold mine for £10.000 (sorry I did)

Thanks whiterider but I would like outboard power.
Seems it will be a toss between an Antares 580 and a merry fisher 585. Both powered by a suzuki 90hp.

Are they the same boat? What are the Main differences?

Thanks everyone for your input :)
