PC Autopilot program

i have received it. it shows under Private Messages Group Invitation.

i have a spare computer soon, jetway 1.2g mini-atx, i can use as board computer.

it's now a firewall but will be replaced as soon i have my 'old' wide screen hp laptop up and running. i used this hp laptop for navigation what was super but the high power it uses is to much. now i use a eeepc 901 to do the job what runs strait on 12v.

so yeah nice project, hope i can give some input.

oh yeah, i also hacked my scanner to install a discriminator output on it so i have AIS via AISMon what is cool. Cheap solution of £40 for the scanner on ebay and £1.15 on parts at maplin.

I have always found that windoze based computers have crashed on a regular basis, not just with updates. My current laptop for example just goes blank about once a day for no apparent reason. Vista doesn't have the BSOD and is more resilient than XP but it still falls over.

Lord only knows what you are doing. I run XP on our two domestic PCs and they are used for 3 hours per day on average. We havent had any involuntary shutdowns or lock ups for several years - basically since XP came along. Auto update included.

You've some sort of problem there Snowleopard, and it's not XP

I have created a group in here, if you go to community and then social groups there is a group for this project. i have invited everyone who contributed to this thread, i am guessing you will get it as a PM

Hi

Is this group still going? Can i Join?
