The previous three rivers were entertaining but the best has been saved for last ?.

The Thames.

By the time you stripped out all the blimming adverts about 35 mins of actual Thames.
No doubt the complainers will be out in force soon enough but the programme did give the essence of the river to folks unfortunate enough not to have been born ,or be able to afford to live , in the Royal counties.
Was it me or did it get all a bit muddled towards the end about the last lock being Molesely before the tidal bit , so what happened to poor old Teddington.Bit too "trade" one supposes ?
Still at least Henley (with no Poundshop or McDonalds ) was deservedly ignored. :) and the tidal river was given a half decent review.
Did like Paxos comment about Westminster "Wind Farm."

I've never really had anything against Paxman, but I was horrified to learn that he is not a fan of his namesake, J.

Nice to hear Bazalgette get a mention and that the new sewer is well under way.
Last thing I heard was assorted locals were vehemently objecting to having any of the access service tunnels anywhere near them due to dust and noise.

High water spring tides do flow above Teddington so you could argue that it is tidal up to Molesey. Even Teddington is only half tidal due to the Richmond Barrier.
