And what's wrong with that? Is it ungentlemanly to whizz around at 2,3 or 4 times the speed of old wooden boats? Is sailing level only for soft young'uns. We must be told!

Tain't natural to sail level.

I was told if you sailed at more than 5 Knots your flesh would fall off your bones.

Glad to hear Paul Gelder sails a Tri, we might hear a bit more about multihulls in future.

Congratulations Paul, although I have never understood the actraction of a tri, except speed perhaps, but a cat - that is another matter

Talking of tri's. Have a look in todays Sunday Times magazine for the full 2 page photo of a 60ft tri at speed (only starboard hull in the water, the port hull is about 30 ? feet up) with a former world water ski champion being pulled along behind!
